As we have dicussed in the last article, Backgammon is a casino game of talent and good luck. The goal is to move your chips carefully around the board to your inner board and at the same time your opposing player moves their chips toward their inside board in the opposite direction. With opposing player pieces moving in opposite directions there is going to be conflict and the need for specific techniques at specific instances. Here are the last 2 Backgammon plans to complete your game.

The Priming Game Plan

If the purpose of the blocking strategy is to slow down the opponent to move her pieces, the Priming Game plan is to absolutely barricade any activity of the opponent by building a prime - ideally 6 points in a row. The opponent's checkers will either get hit, or result a bad position if he at all tries to escape the wall. The trap of the prime can be built anywhere between point two and point 11 in your game board. Once you have successfully built the prime to prevent the activity of the opponent, the opponent doesn't even get to toss the dice, that means you move your pieces and toss the dice again. You'll be a winner for sure.

The Back Game Technique

The goals of the Back Game tactic and the Blocking Game technique are very similar - to harm your opponent's positions in hope to boost your odds of succeeding, however the Back Game plan relies on different tactics to do that. The Back Game plan is commonly utilized when you're far behind your opponent. To compete in Backgammon with this plan, you need to control two or more points in table, and to hit a blot (a single piece) late in the game. This tactic is more difficult than others to employ in Backgammon seeing as it requires careful movement of your chips and how the checkers are moved is partially the result of the dice toss.
